Chenelle came for dinner on Friday and she and '(G)randad' had a great time making a lot of noise learning to play the guitar together. She has a beautiful singing voice which I could hear once I put gaffer tape over G's mouth..
After dinner the intrepid duo set forth to bake a cake for Great Nanny/Mum which G was to take up to her on his visit this weekend.
Chenelle was justifiably proud of their creation (Note to self - must buy cake tins the same size!)
I went off to do a couple of jobs and when I came back a mouse with a Stanley knife, or so they said, had sneaked up on it.
Sorry Margaret!
PS I cannot believe how hard it is raining at the moment. We're rising and I need to check the ropes and empty the dogs. Looks like I'm going to have to put full wets on over my PJs. Come home Graham; all is forgiven!
Poor Graham, he's only missed when the dogs need walking in the rain... LOL
ReplyDeleteI take it Daisey was in hiding then if you've got a mouse that big on board... :)
That's sooo not true Kevin. I miss him when a new bag of coal needs getting down off of the roof too.
DeleteHi you two, When and where is the loading up day for MR? We fancy being there!
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing but you'd need a very early start.
