Leek arm of the Caldon

This is not a lake - just flooding!

It rained and it rained & we humped shopping up hill & down dale from Leek, but it was worth it. We moored in our own personal lagoon before the tunnel and, eventually, the sun made a guest appearance and we threw in a quick (eagerly awaited and long overdue) BBQ.
We finally tore ourselves away and traipsed off in the pouring rain on Saturday. If you can go without the technology, the Caldon is a very special treasure. We spent just over 2 weeks there and I would have been happy for a month if it had stopped raining for more than 5 minutes.
