  1. Muttley should really do stand-up - he's such a comedian!

    So great to see you all at Cookham - priceless!

    We're safely back in Limehouse now, having had some dog dramas along the way - by the time I catch up with the blog my heart rate will be back to normal (don't ask!) - all hounds alive and well though :-)

    1. It was a great evening.
      Muttley is hopeless; goodness knows how he got himself into that mess right under our noses.

      'all hounds alive and well' OK, but it isn't very reassuring. Guess I'll just have to wait until you catch up with the blog. I really don't do patience

  2. Excellent!!! Reminds me of a time when I thought I had secured Judy and Jade to a post by wrapping the leads round it. Both leads were joined together and I left them sitting quite happily while I went into Boots to do a bit of shopping. When I returned panic set as as both dogs were gone! Then a shop assistant came out of boots with both dogs in tow. They had only walked round the post managing to free themselves and followed me into the shop. As they were still both joined by the leads I had visions of them bowling people over and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Thankfully none of that occurred and I was ever so relieved to see them back!

    1. I frequently tie mine up in that way - I always get away with it 'cause, unlike your two, they don't have enough brains to work together/it out. I suppose you were lucky that the labs didn't take out the odd little old lady/cosmetics department. I hope Boots staff were pleasant about it

  3. That does confirm to me that it was the funniest thing I have seen for a very long time!

    I am now giggling again uncontrollably!

    Awwwwww my poor Mutley!

    The girls are not associating themselves with HIM!

    Hahahaha!

  4. Ok - here's the highlights:

    Bertie getting spooked,ran away, 4 mile round trip - mostly along the A30 at Runnymeade! Motorists amazingly helpful and Bertie got back to the boat unhurt - a miracle! Also miracle that R and I didn't have heart attacks running after him!

    Ollie accidentally pushed off the back into the river at Teddington Lock - safely recovered!

    Henry tore dew claw - blood everywhere but all fine;

    Found nasty lump on Herbie's back - vet today for biopsy...

    I bet you wish you hadn't asked now :-D
