It is the ungodly hour of 7.30 am on a Sunday morning and this is a live post...bloody cows; I tell you that they are not so cute this morning.
Woken up at 6.50am by what sounded like someone trying to climb on our roof - not a peep from the dogs (so obviously not a thief/vandal with a dog then) and Graham still snoring happily beside me.
The boat is now gently rocking and banging against the side - prizing back the window pad I see the bull scratching his head up on the corner of the boat by the cratch cover and the calves playing skipping games with our mooring ropes.
Graham - still happily in the land of nod - ditto dogs...grrrrr
PS Don't tell anyone I said so, but it is rather nice and peaceful and it does mean I get the computer before mid afternoon - one more sleep night to kayak day.

ReplyDeleteAh Carol - patience and Jill are not synonymous!
Deleteaaahh sweat dreams for the last sleep night, you'll then be able to relive your dreams out on your kayak, have fun, look forward to reading about it, Caroline
ReplyDeleteBe honest Caroline - what you really mean is that you're looking forward to seeing pictures of me falling off of it. Do you think I should buy a dry suit?
DeleteOh and a buoyancy jacket?
DeleteDam, you read my mind, yes all pictures of your sporting actions onboard (or overboard) will be read and laughed at, no I meant .. yes laughed at. I'd be wearing the buoyancy aid and life jackets and any other protection available for the cold and wet! Caroline
ReplyDeleteI do have an underwater camera so I'll try and take pictures of me falling in and sinking Caroline
