The adventures of the Crew living on Narrowboat Matilda Rose

It's a hell of a climb up the cobbled streets of Lincoln to the 'sexy' bits around the Cathedral and Castle, but well worth it. Luckily, given that we had the dogs with us, we managed to avoid Indigo Dreams encounter with the Kami Kazi cat.
Unfortunately a lot of it was being dug up whilst we were there
The Lion and Snake didn't seem to want to serve us, so we walked out. The 16th Century Green Dragon gave us a discount for being members of Camra.
We didn't go inside the castle or the cathedral as the cost was too steep for us poor old pensioners.
No Graham, you can't fire it at people doing more than 4mph!
I would have liked to stay overnight so that I could have an independent firtle around the museums and art galleries but we couldn't find moorings that made sense for us - we tried to contact Brayford Trust for a mooring in Brayford Pool, but we couldn't make contact so we pulled out 2 miles and moored by the Pyewipe Inn which allowed the animals free reign and a respite for us from gongoozlers.
