Took off and forgot Daisy cat

More a tweet than a blog.
Left Vic and Sue yesterday morning after an amazing last hurrah at Quisine. I will catch up as it has been an extraordinary week but I couldn't let this evening pass without fessing up on animal cruelty.
Moored below the lock (which will close on Monday) at Cropredy - plan being to do loads of washing then water and pop through the lock in the morning. But it's Saturday and we couldn't get a telly signal and it's Strictly.......crisis!!!
G valiantly fiddled for ages with the aerial and then moved the boat whilst I prepped dinner....and then we realised that we'd left without Daisy!
It's such a good job that he is brilliant at reversing - even in the dark.

    1. Shocking isn't it? We'd moored for the night and let her out as usual and then it was close to Strictly time and we had no signal, She does have the RSPCA helpline number in her waistcat pocket though (joking apart; she would never starve!) xx

    1. Daisy is completely self sufficient and would only need another boat when she required a shoulder to snuggle/dribble on. Wouldn't say no to a bit of full fat milk or cream though - may get fed up with canal water!

    1. Yes..ish although I have a couple of nasty scratches. Do you remember when we were having our new cratch cover fitted and G crossed over so they could do the other side and Joe had to ring him to go back for Daisy who was shouting and pacing up and down on the opposite bank? I'm surprised she hasn't found someone more responsible to live with really!
