I decided that Daisy shouldn't come with me
However, Baxter would not be deterred
I want one of these - just enough room for a dog/cat and a picnic - but Graham wants one of these
I wouldn't mind one of these either!
Brian and Diana on NB Harnser popped round at lunchtime
Whoo Hoo - a blog post!
ReplyDeleteThat canoe looks like fun - can't believe that Baxter was brave enough to come for a paddle...
As an expert capsizer of canoes I do prefer Graham's choice of boat :-)

Sarcasm my dear Sue does not become you!!! Baxter and I loved it - you would really have to go some to capsize it. What was really brilliant was the peace and quiet - nobody bossing me around and giving me instructions although I was concerned that he might get out the bike and the loud hailer xxx
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you've surfaced again, I was just about to alert Air Sea Rescue to go look for you... LOL
ReplyDeleteVery droll. Glad I didn't spend the night stuck on the sand bank. We're behind you with your shopping stuff xx
ReplyDeleteSorry Jill, you're quite right, it IS the lowest form of wit!
ReplyDeleteI do miss your posts, though I assume that Lesley would tell us if you were in big trouble...
Glad that you're enjoying the Fens, and are having a bit of sunshine at last.
We're plotting a fortnight away in September - Thames or Grand Union - difficult choice given how the weather/river levels have fluctuated this year.....

Sorry Sue, I just haven't been in the mood to blog recently but we have been having a nice time. We're not with Lesley at the moment as we both have different things going on in different places x
ReplyDeleteFair enough!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you're having a nice time though - we think of you often!
Sue, nb Indigo Dream
I should make more effort to blog and we think and talk of you often too - what a summer you've had - such a shame it's been marred for you by Lou's situation. Hopefully we'll see you in the new year although our plans aren't sorted yet. Just heard we can't get back up the Northampton arm until October due to stoppages
