This brick & wood construction sits on the side of the towpath for no apparent reason.The large lettering on the brick says, "DOG FIELD" and the smaller tiles are lovely pictures of different birds, animals and tree leaves.
There's a huge amount of work involved, but I have no idea what it is or why?
G knocked up some pizza dough and we ended up with enough for last night & tonight, it made a nice change from all the Asian food we've been eating recently.
Last night G mentioned to mine host that we had run out of wood. Within seconds he had whipped out his mobile and was ringing around local farmers and residential boaters to organise wood. Really embarrassing but very kind of him - I think we might be spending too much money in that pub.
G came with us on our walk today as his ankle is a little better, it was nice to have some company.
