Normanton on Soar is a lovely stretch of riversidebut is not boat freindly, there are moorings at the Plough Public house but non elsewhere. However, just around the bend is Zouch, where moorings are plentiful and the pub 'The Rose and Crown' is very welcoming. Matilda Rose is moored up behind thePub's prettily adorned trip boat, a bit of Bollywood on the Soar.
